Hi, Iām Sara
I am originally from the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York State, where I earned my degree in Fashion Design from Marist College. I began my career in the Fashion District of New York City, where I enjoyed working on projects for junior denim bottoms. My passion for pop culture, music, television, and film led me to NECA in North Jersey. During my tenure there, I contributed to numerous successful and popular lines of licensed giftware, jewelry, and apparel.
Subsequently, I relocated to the beautiful state of Vermont, where I worked on a diverse range of branded merchandise. This experience allowed me to expand my network of overseas suppliers and contribute to projects for major lifestyle brands.
I later returned to NECA as a remote worker, where I once again contributed to giftware and apparel product lines, in addition to my role as a Toy Tailor.
On a personal note, my interests include spending time with my animals, family, and friends. I enjoy gardening, crafting, yoga, wine, and thrift shopping. I love to travel and have a network of friends and family in Kenya, where I travel every year. The art and culture of East Africa inspire me daily.
Additionally, I am actively involved in my Vermont community, teaching art and yoga classes at the local community center and serving on boards focused on community development. I love Vermont and am proud to call it home.
